Any of you who have read my features about LUSH products know that every single time I walk into one of their stores, I lose my mind…first, I think that everything on display is some form of delectable, edible chocolate…it’s like being in The Chocolate Factory and I wouldn’t be surprised if I actually drool.  Then once I remember that the amazing displays all around me are in fact NOT edible, I switch into “I must have all these beauty products now…now!” mode. So we’ve established that A) I get very emotional around LUSH products and B) I can never choose a favorite from amongst the hundreds of options and get totally overwhelmed by the choices (but in a good way!).  And now LUSH is introducing yet another collection that could just put me (and all other LUSH-a-holics) over the edge.

Get ready to put your emotions in the driver’s seat and take a spin with LUSH’s FIRST color collection, Emotional Brilliance! Not to be confused with just any other color range, Emotional Brilliance is about wearing colors to fulfill an emotional need at any given moment.

This range consists of 13 liquid lip colors ($22.95), 11 liquid eyeliners ($22.95) and 6 cream eyeshadows ($22.95) and is less about wearing makeup that’s in-season or on-trend and more about wearing colors that shape your mood…or that are shaped by your mood. Choose colors by playing the Emotional Brilliance Game. To play the game, spin the color wheel then choose the first three colors you are drawn to (even if they’re not your usual favorites!). The three chosen colors each correspond with a word (the product name) such as Confident, Take Control, or Glamorous. The order in which you choose the colors is very telling. The first color choice symbolizes your Strength Or Weakness, the second choice represents your Subconscious Need, and the third choice is your Talent and it is what you require to achieve your subconscious need.
