Lzzy Hale of Halestorm says, “’hardDrive’ has been such a huge part of us breaking in the last couple of years.  The show has always supported us and what we do.  We can’t wait to get back on the road in front of real rock fans with our friends in Bullet, Young Guns, and Stars in Stereo. It’s going to be a great time.”

‘We did one of our very first US interviews with ‘hardDrive’’s Roxy Myzal last year,” says Gus Wood, lead singer for Young Guns. “It was so exciting to be speaking to someone that was aware of our band, even at that early stage for us in

Young Guns

the States.  Since then everyone at ‘hardDriveh has been supportive and instrumental in helping us to progress as quickly as we have. We’re super grateful and honoured to be involved with this tour, and we can’t wait to get started. See you down front!”

And Stars in Stereo comments adds, “We can’t wait to be a part of this ‘hardDrive’ tour.  With our first album coming out right beforehand, we couldn’t ask for better company to release it in and couldn’t imagine a better tour to support it with.  We won’t waste the opportunity to learn a thing or two from Bullet for My Valentine, Halestorm, and Young Guns either.  You can expect a lot of energy and excitement coming from SinS!”

Upon its release last spring, The Strange Case Of…, the second album from Atlantic Records artist Halestorm, shot to the #1 slot on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart. The first single, “Love Bites (So Do I),” marked the first song by a female fronted group to top the active rock chart, and earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.  Halestorm will perform the song, which was the #1 song of 2012 on SiriusXM’s “Octane,” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Tuesday, January 29th.  Last year, frontwoman Lzzy Hale appeared on the cover of Revolver, who named her their #1 “Hottest Chick in Hard Rock.”  True road warriors, Halestorm spent much of 2012 on tour, including countless headline dates around the world, support slots alongside Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, Staind, and the one and only Alice Cooper, plus festival tours like the Carnival of Madness 2012 Tour with Evanescence.

Buzz continues to build for UK rock band Young Guns, who recently made headlines when Kerrang! awarded their new single “Bones” the No. 1 spot on its list of the “250 Greatest Rock Songs of 2012.” Thanks to “Bones,” a song whose companion video (bit.ly/QKP5ch) has racked up more than 1.3 million YouTube views, Young Guns also hold the distinction of being the highest charting new band at Active Rock Radio in 2012. Their full-length Wind-up debut, also titled Bones, has drawn rave reviews from the likes of Revolver, Q Magazine, the BBC and Alternative Press, which wrote, “Young Guns are making waves the old-fashioned way ~ writing great songs and playing their hearts out every night.” Over the course of the past few years, the London-based quintet (vocalist Gustav Wood, guitarists Fraser Taylor and John Taylor, bassist Simon Mitchell and drummer Ben Jolliffe) has emerged as one of the UK’s most electrifying new bands, garnering heavy radio play and chart success while playing to packed-house crowds all across Europe, including a main stage performance at the Reading Festival, where they were part of a lineup that included Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, Guns N’ Roses and Modest Mouse.

Stars in Stereo is wasting no time getting back on the road in the new year and bringing their self-titled debut album with them.  They had a busy 2012, releasing “The Broken” single on iTunes (itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-broken-single/id529205075,) and touring with the likes of The Used, Blue October, Hoobastank, and Foxy Shazam. The band will be hitting the road in 2013, starting off with a nationwide tour with hard rock heavyweights Drowning Pool and Flyleaf and continuing on to the fifth annual hardDrive tour. SinS is ready to bring their own brand of non-stop energy and exciting performances to any city they can get to. Having developed their live show into something that is not to be missed, SinS says they want audiences to “…leave shows feeling like they are a part of something. Something they can be proud to represent. We want them to leave exhausted, sweating, and ready for more… an army of the broken.”  The buzz around Stars in Stereo is no less electric.  With a rapidly growing following of SinnerS and a growing anticipation of their first album, Stars in Stereo is a band to keep an eye on in 2013.
